Shipping, Delivery & Claims
All Livestock are shipped with Aramex express service.
Orders can be shipped to your home, work or any other physical address you specify (orders CANNOT be shipped to PO Boxes).
Delivery usually takes 24 to 48 hours to arrive from when we ship it out.
Orders are ONLY shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays; your order must be in by 5pm Sunday for your order to go the following week.
We do try to send orders the same week they come in where possible, it can depend on when you order, what you order and if it is in stock.
Shipping Costs
- $10 Flat Rate on all Dry Goods
- $35 Flat Rate on Live Fish
Both those get added if there’s a mixed order with dry goods and fish - $20 Flat Rate on Live Plants – but it doesn’t get added if there’s live fish in the order in which case just the live fish cost is charged
We do have a minimum buy, $25.00 worth of product before shipping costs.
Delivery and Tracking
We are experts when it comes to packing and shipping live fish. Fish are packed with the utmost care in insulated foam boxes with medical grade oxygen.
We include specialised heat packs during the cooler months to ensure the fish have a consistent temperature and are comfortable.
Orders can be shipped to your home, work or any other physical address you specify. ( No orders can be shipped to PO Boxes).
You will be emailed an order tracking number when your order has been shipped, so that you can track the progress of your order online and ensure you are ready to take delivery of it.
Tracking numbers are usually emailed the day of shipment.
The online tracking service is NOT powered by Aquarama and we are not responsible for the delay in the information provided by the online tracking service.
We recommend if you are unable to track the delivery online, you can call or email the courier direct. We see the same information that you see once the freight has left our facility.
Our couriers are instructed to leave your order in a safe place if there is nobody available to sign for it. We are not responsible for your order once delivery has occurred without your signature. If there is no signature we reserve the right to refuse any DOA claims if any. We are also not responsible for redelivery or if the address supplied is incorrect.
DOA & Returns Policy
Due to the complicated packaging and shipping procedures involved in handling live fish and plants, as well as our commitment to the health and safety of all our specimens, we cannot accept any returns. So please make your selection carefully
We offer a 100% live delivery guarantee on all our fish, plants and other aquatic life.
If something in your order arrives dead, please take a photo of it in the sealed shipping bag on arrival, along with a picture of the fish out of the bag.
If you believe an item is missing or incorrect please take photos what you have received in the bags.
Then just go to our Claim Form below and follow the instructions. Feel free to add any important detail that may be necessary. We’ll contact you with a decision and a solution to either refund or resend.
- Claims MUST be accompanied with clear and accurate photos of each fish in the original sealed bag plus one picture of the fish out of the bag.
- Freight/Postage costs are Non-Refundable and cannot be claimed.
- Claims must be put through within 24 hours of the delivery.
